About Karen
A Life Dedicated to Serving Others
Karen J. Faber was a devoted public servant, compassionate mentor, loving mother, and passionate advocate for individuals and families facing life’s greatest challenges. Whether serving her community as a police officer or encouraging young people to pursue higher education, she believed every person deserved the opportunity to build a brighter future.
Having raised two sons largely on her own, Karen understood the strength required to overcome adversity. She generously invested her time, wisdom, and encouragement in others, especially young single mothers and at-risk youth, always leading with kindness, faith, and compassion.
Even during her courageous battle with lupus, Karen remained a source of hope and inspiration. Today, her legacy continues through The KJF Project, ensuring her vision of service and opportunity lives on.
